Shanghai or Bust; Shanghai it is..
My latest project takes me to the great city of Shanghai, China.
Since many of you know by now, I will publicly state that I work with BearingPoint's Integration Services. We are part of Global Technology Services.
GTS has several offshore development sites, hence, my trip to Shanghai.
I am impressed with the city, the people, and most of all, my fellow BearingPoint colleagues.
The focus of my trip is to understand the dynamics related with onshore/offshore team collaboration, specifically as it relates to webMethods implementations.
I highly recommend a tourist trip to Shanghai. There's so much to see and I definitely will not have the time.

Yes, working with Offshore is different.. there are some companies who have used it so well.. and some of them are limping along....
EDS, IBM, Accenture, TCS, Satyam, Infosys, Cap Gemini.... are some of those...
