New Horizons

For those of you who know me, I have decided to strike out on my own again (after more than 2 years).

The lure of contracting and the strength of the economy is generating more work than there are qualified candidates.   Hence, I can keep busy enough not to have to eat boxed macaroni and cheese seven days per week.

I have passed over several excellent opportunities in the last six months but I cannot pass this one up.  I will be able to be close to my family and friends and not have to travel as extensively.

Well, at least until this contract is up!

I am excited , yet sad that I am leaving a very good company.  For all those folks that I have worked with on exciting and dangerous missions, I wish the best!

Cheers.

Ray,

Welcome to the ranks of the semi-employed! We independent consultants never suffer under the delusion that some benevolent employer is giving us job security. If we don't provide value, word travels fast and soon the work dries up.

Since you've been providing your clients with exceptional value over the years as a webMethods architect, you'll do well!

Best of luck!

Mark
